Welcome to my great works page! I've certainly wrote a lot of papers/poems in my 12 years of schooling, but here I chose to attach only a few of my best writings. Most of these writing are from this years AP Literature class, but others may be from other classes. If it is from another class I will specify which class it is from in the description. After reading the description, if you choose to read one of the papers, click on the button labeled with the works title and it will take you to the PDF. One last thing, I will be including a "great work" from English 4 to emphasize just how much my writing has improved since taking AP Lit.
Apostrophe Hand poem |
My personal narrative |
This poem had to be five stanzas long. It was originally meant to be about what hands do or what yours have been through. I took a different approach and wrote a five stanza poem about the changing from friendship to love.

This class required a personal narrative; in which we wrote about a personal experience. We were expected to take a unique organizational approach-- I chose to chunk my paragraphs and label them (1,2...) in order of events. I wrote about my person experience with cross country and why I chose to run.

war storyThis paper was written when I was still in English 4. "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien is the literature we were focusing on at the time; our task was to write a personal "war story". It could be real of fictional so I chose to write about my uncle and re-wrote his story.

Foster paperAfter reading Thomas C. Foster's, "How to Read Literature Like a Professor", we were assigned to the task of analyzing the purpose and style of his writing. We were told to write on his unique, bombastic style of writing while citing specific examples from the book.
